Job Description - Engineer Scheduler/Service Desk Planner

Are you ready to join a company that genuinely values its people?
As a Service Desk Planner, you'll be the key point of coordination for engineers and account managers, ensuring smooth and timely service delivery for a portfolio of clients. While previous experience in a similar role is ideal, we offer full training to help you succeed. This is a Temp to Perm position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule jobs for a dedicated portfolio of accounts
  • Allocate and manage engineer workloads
  • Monitor and process job paperwork and escalate where needed
  • Communicate with Account Managers and clients regarding service delivery
  • Issue reports and certificates, and ensure documentation accuracy
  • Liaise with engineers on job progress, updates, and concerns
  • Book appointments with clients and confirm scheduling
  • Raise new jobs, contracts, and order materials
  • Assist with job-related queries, abortive charges, and missed visits
  • Support invoicing by checking job details and paperwork
  • Answer incoming calls and handle general administrative tasks
  • Run weekly reports to track pending or overdue jobs
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in scheduling or a similar admin/coordinator role
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confident working independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable handling a fast-paced, detail-oriented workload
