About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an Engineer/Site Agent to join our Operational Highways team at Leicestershire County Council.
In this role you will be responsible for project managing the delivery, supporting and planning projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality management systems.
As part of this role your responsibilities will include liaising with Operations and acting as project manager on site of the duration of the scheme build, managing sub-contractors, assisting with the development of scheme designs and carrying out spot checks and quality control check.
The nature of the work may involve you carrying out work outside of normal working hours and at different locations than your designated base.
