Engineering Academic Tutor – Mechanical & Electrical Engineering

Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire
Salary: £35,528 – £40,068 per annum

Boston Rose is working with a leading training provider in Gloucester to recruit an Engineering Academic Tutor on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineering Lecturer, Tutor or industry professional looking to move into education and training.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering classroom-based engineering training at Level 3, covering the following subjects:

Engineering Materials – Material properties, applications and selection.

*

Mechanical Principles – Engineering mechanics, forces, motion and mechanical systems.

*

Electrical & Electronic Principles – Electrical fundamentals, circuits and electronic systems.

You will support learners in developing their theoretical engineering knowledge, ensuring they gain the understanding required to progress within their engineering careers.

The Ideal Candidate

*

A strong background in Mechanical, Electrical or General Engineering.

*

Relevant engineering qualifications, ideally HNC/HND or degree level.

*

Sound technical knowledge across the three subject areas.

*

Previous teaching, tutoring or training experience would be advantageous.

*

Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

*

A recognised teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.

Salary & Benefits

£35,528.30 per annum – Unqualified Tutor

*

£40,068.10 per annum – Qualified Tutor

*

Permanent, full-time employment.
