Engineering and Security Coordinator

At InterContinental London Park Lane , we are currently looking to for a Coordinator to join the Engineering and Security team.

This position requires a professional individual who is of an assertive and confident disposition, to primarily monitor both the associates and contractors who enter and exit the building. You will be required to possess strong administrative skills in order to manage the paper trail in these departments and maintain accurate records. Confidentiality and discretion is vital within the Security and Engineering departments as is enthusiasm and a welcoming approach to all individuals to the hotel. You will be supporting the Director of Engineering and the Head of Security in promoting a strong team spirit and open communication within and outside of the Engineering and Security office.

You will be Co-ordinating all engineering & security action plans and liaising with all departments to ensure full completion of tasks. Registering new employees, contractors, and visitors to the hotel on entry and ensure they relevant access rights and ID cards. You will also need to assist with queries from associates, agency staff, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring they are aware of internal procedures and are registered with the security office whilst also dealing with lost property enquires and returns following the appropriate process.

To succeed in this role, you will:

• Have previous experience within an administrative role, ideally gained within a hotel.
• Have gained experience in a similar role within security/engineering.
• Be able to work comfortably and will continuously thrive to improve and be challenged.
• Have the ability to remain focused when deadlines, priorities and practices change.
