We are seeking an

Engineering Development Manager

with a strong background in software development and data engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and driving technological excellence. This role will involve overseeing both the software development and data functions, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor the software and data teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Oversee the end-to-end development process, from concept to deployment, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of software products.
Manage data engineering projects, ensuring the efficient collection, storage, and analysis of data to support business objectives.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
Implement best practices in software development and data engineering, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and scalability.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuity.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, integrating relevant innovations into our technology stack.
Produce stats and report to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
Proven experience in data engineering, including data warehousing, ETL processes, data analysis and data science.
Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of developing and mentoring talent.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, .Net and/or JavaScript is highly desirable.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and data technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark).
