Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager with a background in embedded C++ development is sought on a hybrid basis by a market leading scale up based in Birmingham.

With a rich pedigree of delivering best in class technology for the F&B market this Engineering Manager will help shape the future roadmap of the company's multi award winning platform whilst building a multi-disciplinary team that will build highly scalable robust products.

Working closely with the founders this Engineering Manager will take responsibility for establishing engineering best practice (releases, workflow management, automation, QA) to drive new product development forward in a sustainable way whilst ensuring that every Engineer in the team feels valued & rewarded within this high performing, innovative team.

This Engineering Manager should have most of the following key skills:

- A strong background in embedded C++ development
- Experience leading on embedded system design and development
- Experience working in a product led development environment
- Proven experience designing & implementing engineering best practice
- Strong resource planning experience
- Performance monitoring capabilities
- A real 'can do', positive approach with a willingness to go above and beyond to help your team achieve their personal growth targets
- Any experience working with AI solutions would be a plus
