A well-established consulting and engineering business working across the Commercial Real Estate Sector is looking for a mechanically biased Engineering Manager. Along with a salary of up to £95,000 per annum (depending on experience), you will also receive a range of benefits including a great Central London work location + hybrid working options.
The business offers a range of decarbonisation and energy efficiency services within the building services/commercial real estate sectors. As Engineering Manager, you will be leading a Technical Engineering team and working closely with the Commercial Director to create solutions to increase market share.
This is a hands-on role. You will also have responsibilities for acting as a technical liaison for clients and working with the commercial/BD team on suitable business proposals.
Key responsibilities as Engineering Manager include, but not limited to:
Managing a team of M&E Design Engineers, supervising their project related activities.
Liaising with client stakeholders to develop bespoke solutions.
Developing client proposals in partnership with the Commercial and Business Development Team.
Developing project, resource & budget plans with the PMO team.
Prioritising projects & resources to ensure the achievement of project deadlines.
Undertaking the detailed Surveying of buildings to identify energy efficiency opportunities.
Preparing energy audit/review reports/ and recommendations
Performing building analysis using simulation software
Creating de-carbonisation plans for existing buildings
Preparing GHG emissions reports
Performing feasibility studies for renewable power and heat generation
Creating financial models for building services upgrade projects
Overseeing building services upgrade & refurbishment projects with PMO team
Delivering ESOS assessments (Training provided)
Conducting Non-Domestic EPC’s up to Level 5 – (Training Provided)
