As Engineering Manager you will:
Lead and manage day-to-day design office activities, ensuring efficient resource allocation and seamless project handovers. Deliver accurate, high-quality project designs on time and within budget, collaborating across teams to ensure compatibility. Drive continuous improvement across design processes, systems, and standards to optimise performance and efficiency. Support recruitment, development, and performance of the mechanical engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Provide technical solutions to site visit reports, ensuring customer satisfaction and machine functionality. Enhance machine safety and functionality through risk assessments aligned with UK standards and customer requirements. The Engineering Manager will bring:
Extensive exposure within design engineering experience of special purpose machinery, processlines and/or capital equipment. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor teams. Expertise in SolidWorks and performing design calculations for mechanical components, drives, and structures. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure. A proactive and commercially aware approach, with exceptional communication and organisational abilities. As Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this company's innovative machinery.
