Are you an engineering manager or a senior engineer ready to take the step up into an Engineering Manager role? This could be the perfect post for you. This is an opportunity to work with a growing business who have plans to treble the turnover in the coming years. With plans in place to increase the headcount by 50%, this is a great time to join a multisite business going from strength to strength. With a strong orderbook and working with an interesting portfolio of customers, this role would suit a hands on engineer with a strong background of managing small teams and working in highly regulated industries.
Role & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the plant manager, this role will see you managing a small team of team of engineers and toolmakers.
You will be responsible for the management of the production machinery and facilities on the site.
PPM planning and CMMS management.
You will manage the budget for the engineering department.
Providing training for the engineering department.
You will occasionally be required to work in a hands on capacity.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
The successful candidate will come from a background of engineering management or a senior engineering role.
Apprenticeship trained and electrically biased, ideally multiskilled.
Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
Experience managing small teams.
