Our client's core product stands as a pioneering solution in converting human performance simulation data into actionable insights. They seek a Product Development Manager (official internal title) to spearhead the evolution of this product. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record in developing and delivering data-centric products, with a willingness to engage hands-on in technical aspects as necessary.
Responsibilities Include: Taking full ownership of their core product's development. Leading a cross-functional team to continuously develop the product. Designing and implementing robust, bug-free data architecture. Planning and executing significant feature enhancements. Creating efficient data systems and pipelines for data interpretation. Collaborating with internal teams to optimize data capture processes. Crafting product roadmaps and user stories. Managing and prioritizing the product backlog. Monitoring and evaluating product progress. Proposing innovative solutions to data challenges. Engaging with customers to translate needs into product requirements. Sharing expertise and mentoring colleagues in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Proven track record in developing and delivering data products, with a focus on data visualization. Strong proven leadership experience. Previous experience in software engineering, data engineering or similar roles. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python. Hands-on experience with SQL database design. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; Master’s degree is advantageous. Data engineering certification (e.g., IBM Certified Data Engineer) is a plus. Experience in sectors like Aerospace & Defense, simulation & training, gaming, cloud, AI, etc., is desirable.

You should be based in Ireland or in the UK for this position Although the position is remote, visits to the office will be required on the first 6 months (expenses covered by the company)
