Location: Ulverston
Contract Duration: 6 months initially with potential extension up to 2 years
Daily Rate: £400 - £550
Start Date: January 2027 (earlier start possible)
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 37 hours a week with flex

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead exciting engineering projects from inception to successful completion! This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual eager to make a significant impact in a vibrant engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource requirements.
Coordinate project teams and expertly delegate tasks to ensure seamless project delivery.
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project delivery processes.Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience managing projects within an engineering or manufacturing context.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and risk management.
Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and ERP systems like SAP is desirable.
A project management qualification or relevant degree is a plus.

This position offers the chance to work on projects for the next 1-2 years. The role will initially require on-site presence in Ulverston, transitioning to a hybrid model once settled.
