This Engineering Project Manager role is based onsite five days a week near Stevenage and requires close collaboration with engineering, operations, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities of Engineering Project Manager

Manage end-to-end delivery of new product development (NPD) projects across the full product lifecycle
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, quality, and commercial functions
Manage project risks, resources, and costs within a structured stage-gate environment
Track and report project progress, budgets, and performance to senior stakeholders
Maintain structured project governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks
Drive continuous improvement across project delivery and NPD processes

Requirements for Engineering Project Manager Role

Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline
Proven experience delivering NPD or product development projects
Background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, complex environment
Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and cost control
Experience with stage-gate, product lifecycle management
