Engineering Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to deliver complex engineering projects from bid through to completion. Working across engineering, operations, procurement, quality and commercial teams, you will manage customer-funded programmes, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage engineering projects from conception through delivery and closure.

* Develop project plans, schedules, budgets and forecasts.

* Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate internal stakeholders and subcontractors.

* Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining programme governance.

* Build strong customer relationships and provide regular progress reporting.

* Support bid preparation, project mobilisation and programme delivery.

* Coordinate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), installation, commissioning and final delivery.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Project Manager within an engineering environment.

* Experience delivering complex engineering or defence-related projects.

* Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management and stakeholder management.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.

* Excellent communication and commercial awareness.

* Software development project management experience is advantageous.

* APM qualification or equivalent is desirable.
