Engineering Recruitment Consultant - Permanent Recruitment

Are you an ambitious Recruitment Consultant who enjoys winning business, building relationships and making placements?

Right Now Group is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our growing Engineering Division, working alongside Ryan Hay.

We're looking for someone who has a genuine passion for recruitment, enjoys the commercial side of the industry and wants to develop a successful permanent recruitment desk.

You'll be joining a business that rewards hard work, encourages ambition and gives consultants the opportunity to take ownership of their success.

The Opportunity

As an Engineering Recruitment Consultant, you'll manage the full 360 recruitment process, with a strong emphasis on business development, client relationships and permanent placements.

You'll work with engineering businesses to understand their recruitment requirements, identify talented candidates and deliver an excellent recruitment service.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify and win new business within the engineering sector.

Develop relationships with hiring managers and key decision-makers.

Generate permanent recruitment vacancies through sales activity.

Source, screen and qualify engineering professionals.

Manage interviews, offers, negotiations and successful placements.

Develop long-term client relationships and secure repeat business.

Build and manage your own pipeline of candidates and opportunities.

Negotiate commercial terms and recruitment agreements.

Maintain accurate information within Tracker RMS.

Work towards individual billing targets and sales KPIs.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience within recruitment, ideally in a 360 role.

A proven ability or genuine appetite to develop new business.

Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Confidence approaching new clients and decision-makers.

Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple vacancies.

A proactive, competitive and results-driven attitude.

Engineering recruitment experience would be advantageous, although we're open to recruiters from other specialist sectors.
