Engineering Sales Manager - Regional

Sales Manager - Regional within hydraulic valves and electronics control systems required for my client near to Southam.

The sales manager will be responsible to contributing towards the annual sales target by maintaining and developing new profitable business from existing and potential customers, continuing a high level of technical support and customer satisfaction.

The sales manager would cover sales operations between the Norfolk and South of Birmingham region of the country - including Wales.

Sales Manager - Regional Position Overview

* Travel and visit new and existing customers in UK to market and promote the full range of engineering companies' products and help to design technical solutions for their specific applications.
* Aim to exceed annual sales and gross profit margin targets.
* Maintain regular contact with existing customers and encourage new business from them by building proactive, enjoyable, and reliable business relationships.
* Source new business and identify the business potential.
* Respond to customer requirements for quotations, technical proposals and support, training, visits, and presentations.
* Plan customer visits and develop key accounts, maintaining regular liaison with contacts regarding long term projects.

Sales Manager - Regional Position Requirements

* Proficient in electronics and hydraulics and capable of on-site commissioning
* Relevant sales qualification is desirable.
* Microsoft Office Software package experience essential - including Outlook.
* SAGE 200 system.
* Technical knowledge: Electronic and Hydraulic products.
* Product knowledge of Mobile sliced/ Stack valves for all Industries.
* Knowledge of Load sensing system closed and open loop.
* Industry knowledge: Industrial, Marine, Offshore/Sub Sea, Gas, Hydraulic, Agricultural, Construction.
* Quality Procedures ISO9001:2008.
* Based within commutable distance of Southam.
* Full UK driving licence.

Sales Manager - Regional Position Remuneration

* Salary - £60,000 - dependent upon experience, skill and qualification.
* Working hours - 08:30am to 17:00pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 08:30am to 16:00pm Friday (1hr unpaid lunch).
* Holiday package - 31 days (inclusive of bank holidays) After 2 years' service, 2 additional days + further day of holiday entitlement is awarded for each 5 years of service up to a total of 36 days.
* Sick pay (after probationary completed): Full pay for the first 12 weeks, then 50% of pay for a further 12 weeks per year.
* Private medical insurance after 6 months probationary.
* Pension: 5% employee, 3% employer.
* Discretionary annual bonus.
