Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery
• Understanding of PPM Systems

The Role

Hands on Engineering Shift Team Leader, experience of the food industry is required. Leading a team of 4 you will be responsible for planning and delegating workloads, updating CMMS and promoting H&S.

You will play a key part in driving continuous improvement on site along with any project work undertaken and assist with both electrical and mechanical maintenance on process and packaging machinery. On a day to day basis you will work on packaging machinery, presses, ovens, printing units, gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work, and other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
