Hyperion Partners are proud to be working on behalf of a prestigious client to recruit an experienced Engineering Supervisor for a landmark site in South Kensington. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation managing a high-profile estate with a strong emphasis on technical excellence and service delivery.

As the Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a small team of multi-skilled engineers and ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of all M&E plant and systems across the site. You will act as the technical lead, providing hands-on support where required, and ensuring that all planned and reactive works are delivered to the highest standards, in line with health and safety and compliance requirements.

• Supervise and coordinate a team of engineers and subcontractors on-site

• Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all building systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC)

• Carry out site inspections and audits to ensure full compliance with statutory and client standards

• Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day engineering issues and escalations

• Provide technical guidance and support to the team, including hands-on fault-finding and diagnostics when required

• Assist in planning and delivering minor works and project-related tasks

• Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is kept up to date

• Ensure a proactive and customer-focused approach at all times

• Time-served Engineer with a recognised mechanical or electrical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

• Demonstrable experience in a supervisory or senior engineering role, ideally within a critical or high-end environment

• Strong understanding of M&E building services systems

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• Sound knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance obligations
