Engineering Underwriter - Assistant Underwriter stepping up?

Engineering Underwriting Opening- salary circa £80,000 + exceptional benefits, hybrid working

Our client is a large global insurer with an established underwriting team within the engineering space. 
Due to internal development a position has arisen for a new underwriter headcount.  Ideally you should have an EAR underwriting background already, keen to continue to grow your technical expertise across a global portfolio of business.  
This is a technical underwriting opportunity, an education within the  engineering remit is required and if you perhaps aren’t currently working in underwriting but have a claims, risk management or inspection background with an engineering focus, (civil / mechanical engineering / petrochemicals) this role could open up a route into underwriting.
