An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a specialist education team within an Alternative Provision in Milton Keynes, supporting young people aged 11-17 who present with SEMH needs and/or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education.

• Teach English in a therapeutic and supportive setting

• Structured 25-hour weekly timetable across a broad, creative curriculum

• Work with a team of dedicated educators, LSAs, SENCOs and external professionals

• Opportunity to develop your skills in SEN, EAL and differentiated learning

• Access to outstanding facilities including interactive classrooms, vocational workshops, and sports amenities

• Support young people to gain GCSEs, Functional Skills and vocational qualifications

• Recent English graduate or holder of a related degree

• Passionate about inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners

• Confident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships

• Interest or experience in EAL, SEMH, or Alternative Provision is an advantage
