This long-term position is set to begin in September for the new academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English education, fostering a love for literature and language among students.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to encourage and motivate learners.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning experiences.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the school policies and foster a safe classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons and school activities.
• Participate in school meetings, parent conferences, and teacher training workshops.
• Continuously update professional knowledge and teaching practices through CPD (Continued Professional Development).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English in a secondary school environment.
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students.
