English teacher (ECT's welcome to apply)

Location: Sevenoaks

Contract: Full time

Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 - dependent on role.

Start date: September 2025/January 2026

At term time teachers, we are seeking an excellent full time, permanent, English teacher to join the English department at an outstanding comprehensive school in Sevenoaks. As an English teacher at this school, you will be a part of supportive, calm and purposeful environment which creates a thriving educational environment.

This job is ideal for those willing to gain experience as an ECT to build their experience in the classroom, in a welcoming environment.

Key requirements:

• You will have experience teaching English from KS3-5
• Hold QTS as well as a degree at 2:1 or above
• Possess a DBS
• You will be willing to deliver an engaging curriculum to support children's progress
