Horizon Teachers are supporting an OFSTED rated Outstanding' graded secondary school in Hackney, East London, in their search for a new English Teacher to join their team this September. This permanent role is paying between M1 (£40,317) and UPS3 (£62,496).

This thriving secondary school in Hackney, East London is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic English Teacher to inspire and educate students across Key Stages 3 to 5.

In this permanent role, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that spark curiosity and encourage academic excellence. You will be working as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking English Department, supported by a dedicated team of staff.

This permanent role in Hackney, East London starts from September 2025 and is paying up to £62,496 per year!

What the school are looking for in their English Teacher:

• Must be a qualified teacher QTS or PGCE is essential
• Experience teaching English up to KS4 and ideally KS5
• Strong behaviour management skills and a passion for the subject
• Ability to plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons
