Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher for a successful and well-established secondary school in the Warrington area. This is a full-time teaching role starting in January, continuing for the full spring term until Easter, with the potential for extension.

The appointed English Teacher will deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students to develop strong literacy skills, confidence, and a love of learning. You will join a school known for its strong community ethos, high aspirations, inclusive culture, and a commitment to both academic excellence and pastoral care. Expectations are high, support is strong, and staff work collaboratively to ensure every student thrives.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum

Maintain excellent behaviour management and create a positive learning environment

Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school's values

Ideal Candidate:

QTS or equivalent English teaching qualification

Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4

A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress

Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
