English Teacher - Autumn Term Contract

Salary: M1 to M6 depending on experience

A well-regarded secondary school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to join the team on a full-time basis after the Easter break.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, delivering high-quality English lessons to motivated students.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach English Language and Literature to Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable but not essential)
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Contribute to departmental planning and extracurricular activitiesEssential Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting
Strong classroom management and communication skills
