Are you looking to continue your valuable classroom experience in a secondary school setting? Do you have strong communication skills and the confidence to manage a classroom? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable English Teachers to work in secondary schools across Newham.

As an English Teacher, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced educators, or individuals with experience working with young people.

The Role:

* Teach English up to KS4.

* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

* Ensure students remain engaged and focused on assigned work.

* Provide support and guidance where required.

* Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Experience working with children or young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring, or youth work setting.

* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

* Confidence leading groups of students aged 11–18.

* A positive, proactive, and professional attitude.

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
