Pay Rate: £140 - £200 per day

Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a qualified English Teacher for full-time, long-term positions and day-to-day supply work across Somerset. As an English Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging English lessons, developing their reading, writing, communication and analytical skills. You will plan and deliver effective lessons, assess student progress and promote a positive learning environment. The ideal English Teacher will hold a PGCE and QTS or QTLS, and early career teachers are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging English Teacher lessons.
* Develop students' literacy, communication and analytical skills.
* Assess and monitor student progress in English.
* Maintain positive behaviour and classroom standards.
* Collaborate with English Teachers and wider school staff.

Requirements:
* QTS or QTLS certification.
* PGCE or equivalent qualification.
* Passion for teaching English.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* Early career teachers are welcome to apply.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.
* Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
