Your Role:

🔹 Plan and deliver engaging and accessible English lessons for students with diverse learning needs.
🔹 Adapt teaching strategies to support students who may have SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs or challenging behaviours.
🔹 Create a positive and structured learning environment where students feel motivated to achieve.
🔹 Work closely with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and pastoral teams to provide holistic support.
🔹 Track student progress and provide targeted interventions to support their academic development.
🔹 Inspire students to develop a love for reading, writing, and communication skills.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
✅ Experience teaching English, ideally in an Alternative Provision, PRU, or SEN setting.
✅ Strong understanding of differentiated teaching methods and behavioural strategies.
✅ A resilient, patient, and flexible approach to teaching.
✅ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
