English teacher- Brilliant school in Camden- September start

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging English lessons to secondary school students


• Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning


• Assess students' progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback


• Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective teaching strategies


• Monitor and report on student behaviour and academic performance


• Stay updated with the latest educational trends and incorporate them into teaching practices


• Maintain accurate records of students' achievements and attendance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification


• Proven experience as an English teacher, preferably in a primary or secondary school setting


• Strong knowledge of the English language, literature, and grammar


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment


• Flexibility and adaptability to cater to diverse learning needs


• Passion for teaching and a commitment to the academic and personal development of students
