English Teacher - Full-time, Catholic School - Southall

A caring Catholic School in Southall is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join our Humanities department. We are looking for an educator who can inspire a love of language and literature within a faith-based environment.

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level.


• Develop and implement lesson plans focusing on language analysis, creative writing, and literary studies.


• Facilitate student-led discussions, debates, and presentations.


• Assess student progress through written assignments, presentations, and examinations.


• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the English curriculum.


• Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as writing clubs and drama productions.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in English.


• Extensive experience teaching English at the secondary level.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.


• A passion for fostering a love of language and literature.
