A successful girls’ academy in Colchester is looking for an English Teacher for a one-year fixed-term appointment. The school educates pupils aged 11–18 and promotes academic ambition, confidence and independence. You will teach English Language and Literature across KS3–KS5, including examination groups. The successful candidate should be passionate about literature, confident in classroom discussion and committed to developing students’ written communication. The successful candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management and a professional approach to planning and assessment. A relevant teaching qualification and secondary teaching experience are desirable.
