Responsibilities

• Teach English across KS3, KS4, and KS5, engaging students in literature, writing, and debate


• Support students in developing analytical thinking and essay-writing skills


• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level English coursework and examinations


• Work collaboratively to enhance the curriculum with a diverse range of texts and critical approaches


• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as book clubs, writing competitions, and drama productions

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in English, Literature, or a related subject


• PGCE or QTS


• Experience teaching English up to KS5
