The Role

Teach English across the secondary age range
Deliver engaging, creative, and accessible lessons
Support pupils in developing their literacy, communication, and analytical skills
Prepare and deliver lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales
Monitor pupil progress and provide effective feedback
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Build strong relationships with pupils and encourage them to achieve their full potential

Requirements

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✅ English specialism or relevant teaching qualification
✅ Previous experience teaching English within a secondary school
✅ Strong classroom management and communication skills
✅ Passion for English and delivering high-quality lessons
✅ Ability to adapt teaching to meet different learning needs
✅ Positive, proactive, and flexible approach
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
