ENHANCED DBS Site Supervisor - Manchester

Your new company

Our client, a specialist construction and refurbishment contractor, is looking to appoint an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee refurbishment works within an educational environment in Salford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering high-quality projects across the North West.

Your new role

Starting Monday, you will be responsible for supervising refurbishment works to two Food Technology classrooms and associated laboratory facilities at a secondary school in Salford. The initial phase of the project will operate on a late afternoon and evening shift pattern, ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently within a live educational setting.

Duties will include:

Day-to-day site supervision of subcontractors
Monitoring health & safety compliance on site
Coordinating works programmes and ensuring project milestones are achieved
Managing site logistics and maintaining site records
Liaising with project managers, contractors and school representatives
Reporting progress and resolving any on-site issuesWorking Hours:

Initial phase: 4:00pm - 2:00am
Duration: 4 weeksWhat you'll need to succeed

Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman or Site Manager within refurbishment projects
Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme delivery
SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
First Aid at Work certification desirable
Enhanced DBS Check (essential)
