Do you love baking or cake decorating in your spare time?

Are you confident with a piping bag and looking for a role that’s both creative and meaningful?

We’re working with a brilliant charity based just outside Knaresborough, and they’re looking for a part-time team member to join their chocolate studio. You’ll be part of a small team making chocolates for local businesses while supporting young people with Autism or Learning Disabilities to build workplace skills.
It’s a busy but welcoming environment, where you can use your baking skills and do something that makes a real difference—without giving up your weekday flexibility.

The Role Involves:

• Piping chocolate into moulds (don’t worry, you’ll be trained!)
• Adding fillings and prepping batches
• Helping young people learn through doing
• Packing orders and maintaining food hygiene standards
• Being part of a supportive, inclusive team

Ideal for You If:

• You enjoy baking or decorating cakes as a hobby
• You’re confident with hands-on, detailed work
• You’re looking for part-time hours with flexibility for school runs or other commitments
• You’d love to be part of a warm, purpose-led workplace
• You’re open to learning about Autism and supporting others
• You have a driving licence

Some experience in food prep, catering or kitchens is helpful—but not essential if you're a confident home baker.

The Details:

• Part-time, weekday hours
• Based near Knaresborough with free parking
• Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 (pro rata)
