AMTIS is supporting a major organisation undertaking significant technology investment and transformation.

We're looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to play a key role in defining how technology evolves over the coming years, helping to shape future capabilities across cloud, data, AI, digital platforms, integration and security.

This position sits at the heart of technology decision-making, providing the opportunity to influence strategic direction, guide investment priorities and help establish the technology foundations required for future growth.

The Opportunity

This is a career-defining role for an Enterprise Architect who enjoys balancing long-term vision with practical delivery.

You'll be responsible for developing enterprise architecture frameworks, defining target-state architectures and ensuring major technology initiatives align with broader business goals and future operating requirements.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across technology and the wider business, helping to evaluate technology choices, reduce unnecessary complexity and support the adoption of modern platforms and emerging technologies.

A particular focus will be placed on helping the organisation leverage cloud technologies, data platforms and AI capabilities while maintaining a robust approach to governance, security and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Define and evolve enterprise architecture principles, standards and operating models.
Develop target-state architecture across applications, data, infrastructure and digital platforms.
Influence technology strategy and long-range technology planning.
Support major investment decisions with architectural insight and commercial awareness.
Review significant programmes and initiatives to ensure alignment with future-state objectives.
Drive platform simplification, rationalisation and technology lifecycle planning.
Help shape the organisation's approach to AI adoption and emerging technology opportunities.
Work across cloud, integration, security and data domains to create a coherent enterprise technology roadmap.
Collaborate with architecture, engineering and delivery teams to support transformation programmes.
Engage senior leadership teams on technology opportunities, risks and strategic options.
What We're Looking For

Significant experience operating as an Enterprise Architect within a complex environment.
Strong background in technology strategy and enterprise-wide technology planning.
Experience defining target architectures and technology roadmaps.
Broad knowledge across:
Cloud Platforms
AI & Emerging Technologies
Data & Analytics
Integration Architecture
Security & Identity
Enterprise Applications
Experience supporting large-scale transformation and modernisation programmes.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Ability to translate business objectives into practical technology direction.
