About the role : Scaling the Next Generation of AI & Tech

This is a pure enterprise hunting role focused on the most exciting segment of our Target Account List (TAL). Your mission is to acquire high-growth companies and AI-native platforms across the UKI market.
You will not be selling simple, off-the-shelf software licenses. Instead, you will sell Sinch’s foundational communications infrastructure - specifically Voice APIs, Programmable Messaging, SIP Trunking, and secure global numbering - to tech-first companies that are actively building and embedding AI and communications directly into their platforms.
You will target the innovators, founders, and product teams who need a world-class, carrier-grade network to scale their AI-driven applications and platform interactions.

Key Responsibilities 

• Acquire New Tech Logos: Drive net-new enterprise acquisition within a curated list of high-growth technology platforms, ISVs, and AI-native businesses across the UKI region.
• Sell the Infrastructure Stack: Position and sell Sinch’s core CPaaS portfolio-specifically focusing on Programmable Voice APIs, SIP/BYOC, Conversational Messaging (WhatsApp/RCS), and secure verification APIs.
• Navigate Tech-First Buying Committees: Build deep, technically credible relationships with Founders, CTOs, VP of Product, and Heads of AI/Engineering who are building communications-heavy applications.
• Structure Usage-Based Deals: Architect and own the commercial, pricing, and contract negotiations for high-volume, consumption-based contracts that scale as our customers grow.
• Act as a Strategic Partner: Work closely with Sinch’s Product and Developer Relations teams to align our platform roadmap with the shifting infrastructure needs of emerging AI-native startups. 

Requirements

We are looking for a highly driven, intellectually curious "hunter" who speaks the language of APIs and loves the fast-paced nature of the tech and AI ecosystem.

• 7+ years of experience in a quota-carrying, net-new enterprise sales role, specifically selling APIs, CPaaS, cloud infrastructure, or highly technical SaaS to tech-first businesses.
• High Technical & Commercial IQ: You are comfortable whiteboarding API integrations, discussing latency and SIP routing with a developer, and shifting fluidly to build a commercial business case for a CFO.
• Deep Interest in the AI/Voice Space: You understand how AI-native companies use voice (Speech-to-Text, voice bots, real-time conversational streaming) and how CPaaS infrastructure supports that.
• Proven Hunting Pedigree: A documented track record of building a pipeline from a cold start, landing competitive logos, and consistently exceeding a £1M+ annual quota.

• Methodology Discipline: Master of structured enterprise sales frameworks (such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message) to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder tech evaluations.

   

Minimum Requirements

• University degree (business, technical, or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years’ experience in a quota-carrying B2B technology or API sales role.
• Proven experience engaging with C-level stakeholders, startup founders, and technical leaders.
• Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM discipline.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from £50,000 to £80,000, plus a variable compensation component to be determined. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
