Job Title: Entry Level Estimator

Location: Thatcham

Contract Type: Permanent, working Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm

Salary: £21,000 - £23,000 per annum

Are you looking for an opportunity to kick-start your career in estimating? We have an exciting position available for an Entry Level Estimator to join our dynamic team in Thatcham with full training provided.

As an Entry Level Estimator, your primary role will be to provide detailed estimates for client projects, ensuring cost estimates, work time estimates, and overall customer satisfaction. You will have the chance to learn and develop all the necessary skills to become a successful Estimator within our supportive team.

What we're looking for:

• 1 to 2+ years of proven work experience in an office environment
• GCSEs in English and Maths, grade C/Level 4 or higher desired
• Professional and confident with excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Valid driving licence required due to location

Main Responsibilities:

• Create quotations and cost budgets for new contracts
• Maintain existing contracts and communicate with clients
• Prepare detailed proposals adhering to client guidelines
• Support the Contracts Managers and other teams in project development
• Liaise with customers to gather accurate information
• Complete credit checks on new customers
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
