Entry Level Finance Assistant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working in partnership with a growing and forward-thinking organisation based in Dronfield, as they look to appoint a confident and motivated Finance Assistant to join their expanding finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the beginning of their finance career who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, with full study support for AAT qualifications and clear progression pathways.

Working closely with the wider finance team, you’ll be supporting a broad range of transactional finance tasks while developing your knowledge and skills in a structured and supportive environment.

Key duties will include:

• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end duties
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks and reporting
• Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers

This is an ideal role for a recent school leaver, college, or someone with some initial finance exposure (e.g. through a placement or junior role). We are looking for someone who is:

• Eager to learn and build a career in finance
• Confident using Microsoft Excel and other financial software (training will be provided)
• Highly organised and detail-oriented
• A great communicator with a proactive attitude
