• Execute preventative maintenance tasks in line with CMMS schedules and asset strategies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, ensuring full traceability of work completed.
• Use maintenance and downtime data to identify trends and recommend reliability improvements.
• Support spare parts control, stock optimisation, and supplier coordination.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and facilities teams on improvement and upgrade projects.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures, including RAMS and safe systems of work.
• Participate in an on-call rota providing out-of-hours engineering support.

Technical Scope & Systems

• Automated pick-and-place and robotic handling systems
• CNC machines and precision manufacturing tools
• Vacuum, laser processing, plating, and semiconductor equipment
• Pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Chemical and gas distribution systems (nitrogen, compressed air)
• DI water systems, LEV, HVAC, and building services infrastructure

Qualifications & Experience

• BTEC Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience maintaining complex automated or manufacturing equipment.
• Strong fault-finding skills across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic disciplines.
• Experience working with CMMS systems and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a production-critical environment.
• Good IT literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

Desirable Experience

• Experience supporting robotic or vision-based automation systems.
• Exposure to SPC or data-driven process improvement tools.
• Knowledge of optical, laser, or wire bonding technologies.
• Experience maintaining HVAC and site services systems.

Skills & Behaviours

• Strong ownership mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent time management and task prioritisation skills.
• Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Clear communicator with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Committed to continuous improvement, safety, and engineering best practice
