Equipment Controller- Tray Packaging

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Controller for our Tray and Packaging department. This pivotal role involves managing all aspects of packaging equipment and ensuring optimal performance to support our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain packaging equipment related to trays, ensuring it operates effectively and efficiently.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement or maintenance needs.
• Assist in the training of production staff on proper equipment usage and best practices.
• Create and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with the production and quality teams to ensure packaging meets specifications.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers for equipment repairs and parts procurement as needed.

• Proven experience in equipment handling or maintenance, preferably in a packaging or manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical skills and understanding of packaging machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertaining to equipment operation.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Working hours: 8AM-5PM
• Rate of pay : £13.50/hour
