 I’m currently recruiting on behalf of my client for an Employee Relations Advisor to join their team in Paisley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in employee relations who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and established HR environment. The role offers hybrid working and a salary of up to £35,000, alongside the opportunity to work closely with managers and employees across the organisation.

 The Role

As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will provide advice and support across a broad range of HR and employee relations matters, helping managers to deal with issues effectively, fairly and in line with company policies and employment legislation.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of employee relations matters.

Supporting disciplinary and grievance processes.

Advising on absence management, performance and capability issues.

Supporting managers throughout employee relations cases from initial discussions through to resolution.

Providing guidance on company policies, procedures and employment legislation.

Building strong relationships with managers and key stakeholders.

Ensuring employee relations matters are managed consistently, professionally and confidentially.

Maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives where required.

 About You

Experience managing a range of employee relations cases.

A good understanding of UK employment legislation.

Experience supporting disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance processes.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

The confidence to provide advice and guidance to managers.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

A professional, approachable and solutions-focused attitude.

The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider HR team.
