About the Role:

• Teach Sociology across Key Stages 4 and 5, with the possibility of contributing to PSHE lessons.


• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.


• Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including discussions, debates, case studies, and documentaries.


• Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback.


• Contribute to the department's curriculum development.


• Foster a love of Sociology in students.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues.


• Participate in professional development opportunities.

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS or equivalent.


• Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Sociology
