Job Description - Estate Manager

Hexagon Group are delighted to be partnering with a global managing agent on an exciting new opportunity for an Estate Manager to oversee a vibrant office district in Manchester. The estate comprises a mix of multi-tenanted commercial buildings and public realm spaces, where you will also play a key role in delivering seasonal events with the support of the marketing team. You will be supported by a Building Manager and several Facilities Coordinators, all of whom will report directly to you.

In this role, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the estate, delivering exceptional customer service to tenants and attending monthly tenant meetings. You will oversee health and safety across the estate, ensuring all statutory compliance requirements are met, while also producing and managing a multi-million-pound service charge budget. Working closely with internal project teams, you will support fit-out, refurbishment, and replacement projects, in addition to carrying out regular property inspections and resolving any arising issues promptly. You will also manage both hard and soft service partners on-site, monitoring performance, conducting reviews, and re-tendering contracts where required.

Ideally, you will have experience managing a mixed-use estate or a large, multi-purpose property. However, our client is also open to experienced Facilities Managers with a regional remit, managing multi-site portfolios. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations is essential, ideally supported by an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification. You will also have experience in creating and managing service charge budgets and demonstrate exceptional levels of customer service. Previous line management experience would be an advantage.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading company in the real estate sector. The salary on offer is £50,000-£55,000, plus a generous benefits package including a discretionary bonus, pension, and access to further training opportunities.

Our client is keen to move on this vacancy fast and will be looking to interview suitable candidates ASAP.
