The Opportunity:
A well-established rural firm is seeking an experienced Estate Manager to oversee the management, development, and smooth running of a diverse estate portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and strategic individual to make a real impact in a beautiful Shropshire setting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Overall management and strategic planning of the estate’s land, property, and assets
• Overseeing residential, agricultural, and commercial tenancies, ensuring compliance and maximising value
• Managing budgets, accounts, and financial performance of the estate
• Implementing maintenance and improvement programmes across buildings, grounds, and infrastructure
• Liaising with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships
• Identifying new income opportunities, diversification projects, and sustainability initiatives
• Ensuring all operations comply with relevant legislation, health and safety, and environmental policies
• Managing and motivating estate staff and external contractors effectively

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estate Manager or similar role within a rural setting
• Strong knowledge of agricultural, residential, and commercial property management
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels
• Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and problem-solving skills
• Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively
• Professional qualification such as MRICS (preferred) or extensive practical estate management experience
• Full UK driving licence
