Estimation Manager

Job Title: Estimation Manager
Location: Ashford, Surrey
Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Up to £50,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities of Estimation Manager:

• Preparing accurate, timely, and competitive cost estimates and bid proposals.
• Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and scope of work documents.
• Collaborating with internal teams across Sales, Engineering, and Operations.
• Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and scope details.
• Ensuring all proposals are professionally compiled and submitted within deadline.
• Maintaining and refining internal estimation processes and systems.
• Analysing historical data to support pricing strategies and forecasting.
• Building strong working relationships both internally and externally.

Desirable:

• Proven experience in estimating, bid management, or cost planning.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with estimation software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience within the automated entrance systems, access control, or construction sectors.
• A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused mindset.
• Qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
