Estimator

A growing business with an established market presence in the commercial construction/property sector is looking for an Estimator to join the team, delivering estimates for windows & door packages on new build projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity to drive efficiency and shape your own role in this ambitious business. Along with a basic salary of up to £50,000 per annum, you will receive a range of benefits including a quarterly bonus, onsite parking and a pension scheme.

You will be working Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:30 (flexible).

As Estimator, your core responsibilities will typically include:

• Take-off of architects' drawings for input into estimating software.
• Sending quotation requests to suppliers.
• Project costing.
• Present final quote to Sales Team.
• Attending post tender meetings/answer tender queries post order.

We’re looking for an Estimator with the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Relevant experience within the commercial construction sector.
• Technical estimating experience for any of the following: façade, roofing, glazing or cladding products.
• Ability to interpret architects’ drawings/plans.
• Basic knowledge of 2D CAD software.
• Proficient with Adobe PDF.
• Competent with Microsoft 365.
• Technically adept, naturally detailed, comfortable managing multiple project estimates.
• Strong communication skills, enjoy working in a collaborative team.

Highly Desirable:

• Specific estimating experience for Windows & Doors on Commercial projects.
