Civils Estimator - Demolition & Remedial Works

Location: Hybrid - Based near Kent | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Permanent

A well-established civil engineering and demolition contractor is seeking an experienced Civils Estimator to join their commercial team. This hybrid position offers flexibility to work from home, site, and office.

The Role

The Civils Estimator will be instrumental in preparing competitive and technically sound tenders for a variety of demolition and remedial civils projects. This role involves close collaboration with commercial and operational teams, managing bids from early-stage enquiry through to submission.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for demolition, enabling, and remedial works.
Review project documentation, including technical drawings and specifications.
Conduct site visits to support tender development.
Obtain and analyse quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
Liaise with clients, engineers, and internal teams to finalise tender strategies.
Maintain up-to-date cost data and market intelligence.
Requirements
Strong experience in estimating civils projects, particularly within demolition and remediation.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and tender documentation.
Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with estimation software such as ConQuest, Causeway, or similar.
Full UK driving licence.
Ideally based in or near Kent.
