Are you an experienced Estimator looking for an exciting opportunity in a dynamic and well-established main contractor?

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join a growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the project development, ensuring accurate cost estimates that align with the business strategic goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and control the production of costs for tender enquiries;
• reviewing all tender documents, assessing and mitigating risk in packages and acquiring competitive market rates.
• Develop positive relationships with the wider Pre-construction team, including Bid manager, Estimator, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and Building Services Team, as well as with relevant client representatives
• Develop a robust and effective supply chain; nurture existing and supplementing with new sub-contractors.
• Implement the use of Conquest within the tendering procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships both internally and with the supply chain.
• Manage the commercial tendering process to get best market value for a project.
• Actively participate in tender kick offs, mid tender meetings, finalisations,
• post tender interviews and internal handovers on project award.
• Implement Conquest software for all tenders.
• Recommend and develop improved systems and procedures for the business.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably with a main contractor.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost management.
• Proficient in estimating software ConQuest.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
