The Role:
As Estimator, you will play a key part in the pre-construction team, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the wider commercial team to secure and deliver competitively priced, accurately scoped tenders.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing tender opportunities with the commercial team
• Attending site visits during tender stage
• Preparing and sending enquiries to the supply chain
• Raising RFIs and ensuring timely responses
• Assessing tender documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Preparing comprehensive cost submissions
• Identifying and managing project risk at bid stage
• Providing clear and accurate handover documentation to delivery teams
• Monitoring cost alignment during project mobilisation

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous estimating experience in a construction environment (main contracting)
• Familiarity with two-stage tendering processes
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• IT-literate with experience of estimating software and CRM systems, Excel and ConQuest
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively
• Full driving licence essential; DBS clearance may be required
