Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting an Estimator to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to generate estimates from information provided by the sales team or clients to quote, estimate, tender and win jobs in line with the companies revenue and profit business plan growth

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £40,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday, pension scheme.

This is a full-time, permanent (delete if not needed). The hours of work will be 07:00 – 15:30.

Reporting to the hiring manager your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure all jobs are estimated, quoted with in agreed timescales
• Ensure all estimated and quoted jobs achieve or exceed the required GM and profitability levels and meet client lead times
• Review with Operations quoted performance against actual results to ensure estimating/quoting is aligned to delivery
• Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) requirements are effectively included in the estimates
• Work with Procurement to ensure the best commercial arrangements and supplier performance is feed into the quotes/estimates
• Ensure all Jobs are entered into the business systems are detailed, accurate and timely

The ideal candidate:

• Experience of estimating in the drainage and wastewater FM/PM/M&E industry, particularly in relation to pumps and associated plant and equipment
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail
• Positive people management skills and especially with a sales team and customers
• Well organised, detail conscious, accurate and productive in a busy office environment
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve challenges
